Noah Buettgen is originally from Liberty Township, Ohio. He was a three year varsity winner at 1st base and pitcher in high school for Lakota East High School.


Noah then went to Lincoln Trail College, a Division I Junior College in Robinson, IL. After a season ending Tommy John Surgery freshman year, Noah rehabbed back to become a starting pitcher during his red-shirt sophomore year.


He then moved on to the University of Dayton where he was a starting pitcher for 3 years. Noah led the pitching staff and the Atlantic 10 Conference with both 115.1 innings pitched, and six complete games in 2014. He also was voted most valuable pitcher in 2013 and 2014 as well.


Noah began his coaching career as the assistant pitching coach for the Lake Erie Bulldogs 16u team in 2014 as well as the next year in 2015 when they were 17u. After his college graduation he served as the assistant pitching coach for Northern Ohio Baseball Club in the Great Lakes summer collegiate league.
