Pete played baseball in high school at Woodstock where he was a two year varsity starter at catcher.  From there, Pete played junior college baseball for two years at John Wood Community College where he was an All-Conference catcher.  He finished up his playing career at Quincy University where he was a two year starter.  A recent graduate, Pete started with Elite Baseball Training in the winter of 2010.

Coach Stone’s comments on Pete Russell – “I think its important for any quality staff that you keep refreshing with youth.  Pete is an eager instructor that came to us highly recommended last year and did an outstanding job.  Like most catchers, he really knows the game, and with his energy he is an immediate hit with the kids.”
