Coach Stone’s comments on Stephen Konsler – “Stephen was one of my first students when I moved to Chicago in 2004. I trained both of his brothers, Kevin (played at Illinois State U.) and Ryan (still plays at John Carroll College). I always knew I wanted Stephen to teach with me when he finished college baseball because of his personality and interaction with others. Stephen has a high-energy, infectious personality that is contagious to others and will get kids excited about playing baseball. Plus, by training under our system for 6 years as a player, there may be no one that knows that system better than Stephen.”
