Coordinator of Player Development – EBT Mundelein

Christian Poulsen is from Schaumburg, Illinois. He played all 4 years of high school baseball at Schaumburg high. His college playing career started at Harper college where he pitched and playedshortstop. After two years, Poulsen transferred to Maryville College where he finished his playing career. Poulsen joined the Elite Staff in 2018 as a coach for one of the 15U teams. In 2019, Poulsen started working for Justin Stone as a biomechanical hitting intern. Then in 2020 he was hired by the Toronto Blue Jays as a player development intern.

Poulsen then worked 4 seasons in the Orioles organization across the Dominican Republic, Florida Complex, and the Salisbury, Maryland, Low A Affiliate team as a Hitting Coach.

Poulsen is a well rounded coach that has the ability to teach all facets of the game.
